It's been a dream of A Sacred Passing to offer a completely cost-free death doula training for Queer, Trans, Black, Indigenous People of Global Majority (QTBIPOC/QTBIPGM) and low-income Queer and Trans folks, and in 2023 we are hoping to make it happen together!
We want to raise $50,000 by the end of 2022 for cohort scholarships and additional community care offerings. Donations of 1, 100, 1,000, or 10,000 are encouraged! Donations we receive before the end of December 2022 will be foundational for the first Death Care Training cohort of 2023.
Can you support our goal this year?
In 2021 we received $10,825 in financial donations from 13 people and redistributed over $8,550 through 19 partial and full scholarships to Indigenous, Black, and Brown students. Thank you for helping us do what we do.
