Children's Independence Day Parade

Bring the whole family to Durham Central Park to celebrate the Fourth of July at the Children’s Independence Day Parade! Families are welcome at 9:30 am to decorate bikes, trikes, wagons and strollers using items from the Scrap Exchange and then parade through Durham Central Park at 10:30 a.m. The Durham Fire Department will be there to give truck tours to the kids, Glass Jug will have fun breakfast cocktails (and mocktails) for purchase on the lawn, and free popsicles will be handed out!

AND don't leave hungry after the parade! The Glass Jug will be providing hotdogs (first come first serve) for a suggested donation of $3! Get some dogs, grab a beer and have a great start to your 4th of July celebrations!
